Gate of the dyke

The Dammtor is the only one of the four original town gates that has been preserved. It was built in the middle of the 14th century and is 35m in height and has an entrance of 4m in width.














House No 16

"House No. 16" is a former merchant's house dating back to the 18th century. This historic building served as an urban city hall from 1870 to 1946. The Vineta Museum was inaugurated here in December 1997.
